Ive had the printer maybe 1 year. I have purchased only genuine HP cartridges and made sure the printer was up to date and with firmware as well. I got an error saying the YELLOW was depleted so I purchased a new YELLOW and as soon as I installed it, the YELLOW error went away. But the CYAN  immediately said it was DEPLETED although I installed a brand new one as well. I have done everything as far as updates, firmware, unplugging, tried using the HP smart app, and even cleaning/readjusting the cartridges and cartridge holder.. and to no avail! I spent a lot on this printer and really would not like to have to purchase another as I just spent $90+ on 952XL inks for it! Thanks for your time 😁

If you insert your old cyan, do you still get the error message?

Thanks for your reply but I have done everything listed in the link that you gave me. I tried to do everything I could do on any forum I found. But if I put the old CYAN into the printer it basically gives me the same message and says that this cartridge has already been used and depleted

I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding this as this could be a hardware issue.
