I have bought a printer while in US and now am in India having consumed my supplies for HP 664 cartridges. What options are available for me to buy locally is the HP 680 compatible with the printer of it requires a hardware change ?

HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2135 All-in-One Printer uses HP 680 ink cartridges in India.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
We'll have to do a region reset on the Printer for you to use this Printer in India.
To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:
1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.
2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.
3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region to which you want to reset it to.

You will need both the black and the color ink cartridges(working) that are purchased in India to perform the reset. once you have them, let us know to proceed with the region reset.
