How can I disable the ink cartridge protection feature on Deskjet 2630 printer?

Try these steps:

Open HP Printer Software:

  • Ensure that your printer is connected and powered on.
  • On your computer, go to the Start menu and search for HP Printer Assistant or HP Solution Center.

Access Printer Settings:

  • Once you have the HP Printer Assistant or HP Solution Center open, click on the Settings tab.

Advanced Settings:

  • Under the Settings tab, find and click on Printer Toolbox.

Ink Cartridge Protection:

  • In the Printer Toolbox, click on the Ink Cartridge Protection tab.

Disable Ink Cartridge Protection:

  • You will see the option for Cartridge Protection or Ink Cartridge Protection.
  • Select the option to Disable or Turn off ink cartridge protection.

Confirm Changes:

  • Save the settings and close the HP Printer Assistant or HP Solution Center.

Restart Printer:

  • Restart your printer to ensure the changes take effect.
