Hi All

I bought a pair of new (unused) ink cartridges for my Deskjet 3636 printer. When I installed one I get the error I need enrol my printer in the Instant Ink Program. I am not interested in enrolling as I always buy my ink locally. I already paid good money for them. What is the fix here please ?

Hi @AsifMM,

Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing issues with your Deskjet 3636 printer wherein you get a message to enroll to instant ink..

Please follow the steps listed below to remove web services:
1. Open the embedded web server (EWS):
a. Find out the IP address or hostname of the printer by pressing the Information button (i) to print an Information page.
NOTE: The printer must be on a network and must have an IP address.
b. In a supported web browser on your computer, type the IP address or hostname assigned to the printer. For example, if the IP address is 123.123.123.123, type the following address into the web browser: http://123.123.123.123.
2. Click the Web Services tab, and then click Remove Web Services in the Web Services Settings section.
3. Click Remove Web Services.
4. Click Yes to remove Web Services from your printer.

Hi Rainbow23

Thanks for your reply. After I remove EWS will I still be able to print from my mobile phone? I use the HP Print Service app on my mobile devices.
