I just put new cartriges in and I know they are the right type for my printer, but for some reason the paper comes out super fast with nothing on it. I tried to manually clean the carts as well as the automatic feature in the app and nothing has worked. Please help me.

Hi @Journeyy, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP DeskJet 2548 isn't recognizing or properly using the new cartridges. Try the following steps to fix the issue:
Check Cartridge Installation
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the cartridge access door and remove the cartridges.
- Reinsert them firmly until they click into place.
- Close the access door and turn the printer back on.
Reset the Printer
- While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the back.
- Wait 2-3 minutes and plug it back in.
- Turn the printer back on and try printing again.
Run a Hard Reset (If Needed)
- Press and hold the Power button and the Cancel (X) button together for 10-15 seconds.
- Release and wait for the printer to restart.
Check for Error Messages
- If the printer displays a blinking light or an error code, let me know what it says.
Try Printing a Test Page
- Press and hold the Power and Resume buttons (⤺) together for a few seconds to print a test page.
- If nothing prints, the printer may not be recognizing the ink.
Check Ink Level and Cartridge Status
- Open the HP Smart App or HP Printer Assistant on your PC.
- Look for ink levels and any error messages related to the cartridges.
Try a Different Set of Cartridges (if available)
- If possible, try installing another set of cartridges (even old ones) to check if the printer responds.
- If the issue is only with the new cartridges, they might be defective.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
