Hi @TheNicholeRay,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing issues with your HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-In-One Printer after installing new ink cartridges, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem. Here's a step-by-step guide.

Check Ink Cartridge Installation:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly. Open the printer cover and make sure each cartridge is securely in place. Refer to the printer manual for guidance on proper installation.

Remove Protective Tape:

  • Sometimes, new ink cartridges have a protective tape that needs to be removed before installation. Check to ensure that you have removed any protective tape or seals from the cartridges.

Check for Software Updates:

  • Ensure that your printer firmware and software are up to date. Visit the official HP website and download the latest drivers and firmware for your printer model.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve communication issues between the printer and the cartridges.

Clean the Cartridge Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
  • Remove the ink cartridges.
  • Using a lint-free cloth, gently clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer.
  • Reinstall the cartridges and turn the printer back on.

Run Print Quality Diagnostic:

  • Many printers have a built-in diagnostic tool to check the print quality and identify any issues. Refer to your printer manual for instructions on how to run a print quality diagnostic.

Reset the Printer:

  • Some printers have a reset option that can help resolve certain issues. Refer to your printer manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
