I have never had an ink cartridge I have been able to empty. All of them color and black have dried up with 80 to 90% of the ink still showing in the levels. This happens after about 2 months. I am ready to toss this printer and never buy HP again. I have been a big HP fan until now. I have purchased 16 cartridges over the last 2 years. None of them ever got past 80% full before drying out and becoming unusable. I have never had a printer do this. Ink is expensive and when you can't print more than a few documents before it drys out it becomes ridiculously expensive. Thanks HP!!! You just lost a fan. I have had many HP printers and computers over the years. How the mighty have fallen...

Hi @JJM56,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing issues with your HP ENVY Pro 6452 All-In-One Printer wherein the ink gets dried up.
This issue has occurred because you have not used the printer for months.
The nozzles of the cartridges get dried up and stop ink flow on paper.
Hence, I suggest that you print at least one page once in 15 days. If you are not printing for more than 15 days, then you need to remove the cartridges and keep it in a zip lock bag or an air-tight plastic container.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
