HP Recommended
Product: Deskjet 2540

Hello, I usually use 301 ink but it seems to be no longer available.  It looked like HP 61 ink was recommended so I bought that.  It doesn’t work. What ink can I buy for this printer?  Thanks!

@erininca, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

For HP Deskjet 2540 All-in-One Printer, HP 301 ink cartridges are used in Europe, and HP 61 ink cartridges in the US. Make sure you are using the compatible ink cartridges. 

Check the availability of ink cartridges on the HP online store.
