I bought ink from Walmart which was pretty pricey $88 in total plus change. I need to unlock my HP LaserJet MFP m140 we. My daughter gave me this printer and I do a lot of purchasing and returning so I need to print out labels. And for the life of me I cannot figure out any simple way of unlocking so I can use ink from supplies in my area. I should have bought from ink off of HP but I wasn't familiar with the printer yet. Now I am but I still need to print out labels to return this ink to buy it from HP ink resources. Can somebody give me a sample solution please every time I talk to somebody at HP headquarters they say they can't help me it's a monopoly on buying their ink so I feel that's the reason I don't want to return this ink. It's like Wi-Fi there's a Monopoly or was a monopoly on Wi-Fi now there are other companies coming out with internet so there is no more monopoly please help thank you

Hi @Sharon7133,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP LaserJet MFP M140we Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
Update the printer firmware
- Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product

May I know if you have received any error code or lights blinking.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
