Hi @andiagarwal,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Ink Tank Wireless 419 printer is leaking ink, here are some steps you can take to address the issue:

1. Turn Off and Unplug the Printer

  • Immediately turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source to prevent any electrical damage or further leaking.

2. Check Ink Tank Levels and Caps

  • Ensure that the ink tank levels are not overfilled. Overfilling the ink tanks can cause leaks.
  • Check the caps of the ink tanks to ensure they are properly tightened. Loose caps can lead to ink leakage.

3. Inspect for Cracks or Damage

  • Carefully inspect the ink tanks and the printer for any visible cracks or damage. If you find any cracks, it might be necessary to replace the ink tank or printer.

4. Clean Any Spilled Ink

  • Use a damp, lint-free cloth to carefully clean any spilled ink inside and around the printer. Be cautious to avoid touching any internal components with your bare hands.

5. Examine the Ink Tubes

  • Check the ink tubes for any signs of leaks or damage. If the tubes are leaking, they may need to be replaced

6. Check the Printhead

  • If the ink is leaking around the printhead area, the printhead may need cleaning or may have become dislodged. Follow the printer’s manual for instructions on cleaning or reinstalling the printhead.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
