Product: HP Envy 5020
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using HP Envy 5020 with Instant Ink.

No matter what I do the black ink is not drying.

I am using Colorlok paper.

Even simple black text will not dry even after a long time of air drying.

I have tried all the recommended steps.

What can I do.

I cannot try a different cartridge as i am on Instant Ink and won't be sent a new one until the printer is running low.

Hi,

What is the exact paper type?

 

Colorlok is a paper technology, incorrect configuration of the printer may cause such behavior, be sure to select the correct paper type and size.

 

Is it a Plain Paper? Photo Paper? what exact paper weight and finishing are listed on its packaging, these may require configuring your printer for the correct paper size.

I am using HP ColorChoice 90gsm.

Definitely not photo paper.

The printer is set to plain paper.

The black ink is still not dry hours after printing.

It was only a text document and not heavy coverage.
