Hi @Victoria16-,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2755 All-In-One Printer is suddenly printing light blue instead of the expected colors, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure that both the color and black ink cartridges have sufficient ink levels. Even if they are half full, sometimes ink levels can be inaccurate or there might be issues with the cartridges.
  • Print Quality Diagnostic: Most printers, including the DeskJet 2755, have a built-in print quality diagnostic tool. You can usually access this through the printer's menu on the control panel. This will print a test page showing different colors and patterns, which can help identify if there's an issue with the cartridges or print heads.
  • Clean Print Heads: Print heads can get clogged, especially if the printer hasn't been used for a while. Many HP printers have an option to clean the print heads. You can usually find this in the printer settings on your computer. Running a print head cleaning cycle can often improve print quality.
  • Alignment: Printers also have an alignment tool that ensures the print heads are properly aligned. This can sometimes affect print quality, so running an alignment can be helpful.
  • Update Printer Driver: Make sure your printer driver is up to date. Sometimes outdated drivers can cause printing issues.
  • Check Color Settings: It's possible that the color settings on your computer or in the printer settings are off. Check to make sure you're not inadvertently printing in a light blue color profile.
  • Inspect Cartridges: Remove the color and black cartridges and inspect them. Sometimes there might be a protective film or tape that needs to be removed before they can function properly. Also, check for any leaks or other abnormalities.
  • Restart Printer: Sometimes a simple restart of the printer can resolve temporary glitches.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
