So, I was enrolled in the Instant Ink program, but disenrolled due to the fact that I paid I don't know how much over the past 5 years.  I have received only two to three replacements at best, it wasn't beneficial for my family.  I received an e-mail saying I have been disenrolled, then shortly after I tried printing.  I received an error stating since I wasn't enrolled I could not print.  I assume it due to these cartridges being from the program, but I'm not certain.  I'm wondering if I purchase store sold cartridges, would they print........  please advise.

@AROCHACASTLE, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand your concern. In the Instant Ink service, you will not receive replacement ink cartridges every month. You will receive them only when any one of the ink cartridges is low/empty.

Yes, you cannot use the Instant Ink cartridges once you have canceled the enrollment. You will have to use regular HP ink cartridges.

You may purchase replacement cartridges and other supplies from the HP Store or local retailers.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
