Is the HP ENVY Inspire 7258e offered with ink replacement a good deal? Is it an old model?

I just ordered an HP ENVY Inspire 7258e with ink replacement program through HP.  Am I getting an old HP printer model?  I currently have an 8030 series and just realized I may have goofed up.

These are two different types of printers -- "Different Animals"

• The Envy Inspire supports "extra wide" photo print sizes and options not found on the OfficeJet 8030 series.  Examples:

   HP Envy Inspire 7220e 7255e All In One printer How to print a 2 sided 4x6 photo or Duplex Photo

• The "e" model version of the Envy (as is true for other printers with an "e" designation) supports / offers HP+ as an optional service contract.   HP+, when enabled, includes access to premium scan features and Print Anywhere (newer tech option that has replaced ePrint).   Reference: What is HP+, How to Get it, and its Benefits
• IF you are referring to having ordered the Envy printer as part of HP All-In, then the contract includes the HP+ type access to the premium scan features.  Reference:  HP All-In Plan - Printer / Ink / Support
• Models included in the HP All-In plan vary -- Printers provided in the Plan are generally newer models that include the features available in the model type.  They might not be "brand new" models, but neither they are obsolete or "old".
• The OfficeJet supports a full service touchscreen printer control panel and several features that might not be included in the Envy.

Ink Replacement - Instant Ink - is perhaps most useful and beneficial to those who regularly, print high-density content, and / or want or need the convenience of having ink sent when the printer notifies the service that supplies are depleted and it is time for a shipment.

In all except the HP All-In Plan, Instant Ink is an OPTIONAL and separate service contract.
