HP Recommended

I bought a replacement cartridge for my black & white Laser Jet Pro printer on Amazon. It was quite expensive and looks like an original replacement. 

When I inserted it the display informed me that the cartridge was blocked by the printer firmware because it contained a non-hp chip. 

I've looked at some of the advice but none of (the easy) suggestions worked. As I said it was quite expensive and I can't afford to get another one at the moment. 

I purchased it a while ago as a backup so I didn't use it immediately.
