HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw

Since HP Support is apparently non-existent and I can only talk to a bot on there, I guess I will come here. I ordered the 414A ink cartridges for the printer that HP RECOMMENDED and told me were correct, but now I am getting an error code from the printer stating it is the wrong cartridge. The error says "The indicated cartridges (C,M,Y) are not intended for use in this printer. Event code: 10.01.43 10.02.42 10.03.43". I don't know what to do if these are the cartridges I was told to buy by HP. I can't get any actual HP assistance; the website just sends me in circles and forces me to login a million times. Did anyone figure out how to get around this error or how to directly contact HP, maybe via email?

That is possible, but might be complicated. You need to have all 4 toner cartridges from the same region installed and contact your local HP support for regionalization instructions hoping they have knowledge to give you clear instructions. 

 

It would be better for you to buy 415 toners locally.

Are your old toner cartridges also 414A ?

The old ones were 415A which they did not give us an option to buy. The new ones are 414A.

415 are toners sold in the Europe, 414 are sold in US they are both for M479 printer but different region. You can't buy 415 in US only if you import them overseas.

 

Did you buy printer from Europe?

I'm currently in Poland, but I'm not sure where we got the printer. I think we got it here in Poland. We ordered the cartridges off of American amazon.

You bought US cartridges for European printer. You need to buy toner cartridges locally or within Europe not overseas.
