@Tnasway, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Setting Up Your HP ENVY Photo 7855 Without Starter Ink!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you have lost the starter ink cartridges for your HP ENVY Photo 7855, you can still get your printer up and running by purchasing compatible ink cartridges. Here’s how you can proceed:

Purchase Compatible Ink Cartridges:

  • The HP ENVY Photo 7855 uses HP 64 ink cartridges.
  • You need both the black and the tri-color cartridges.
  • You can purchase them from HP’s official website or authorized retailers.

Install the New Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Wait until the ink carriage stops moving.
  • Insert the cartridges into their respective slots. Ensure the tri-color cartridge is on the left and the black cartridge is on the right.
  • Push them firmly until they click into place.

Load Paper:

  • Load plain white paper into the input tray.
  • Adjust the paper-width guides so they fit snugly against the stack of paper.

Align the Printer:

  • After installing new cartridges, the printer will prompt you to perform an alignment. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the alignment process.

Verify the Setup:

  • Once the alignment is successful, your printer is ready for use.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
