Hi @VRH11,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're encountering a frozen low ink message on your HP printer's control panel, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Reset the Printer:

  • Some HP printers have a reset button. Locate the reset button on your printer and press it.
  • Alternatively, check your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

Update Firmware:

  • Visit the official HP support website and check for any available firmware updates for your printer model.
  • If there are updates, follow the provided instructions to update your printer's firmware.

Remove and Reinsert Cartridges:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Open the printer cover and carefully remove the ink cartridges.
  • Check for any visible issues, such as tape still on the cartridges or debris.
  • Reinsert the cartridges and close the printer cover.
  • Turn the printer back on.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Ensure that there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer that might be causing the issue.

Clean the Cartridge Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Remove the ink cartridges.
  • Clean the contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer with a lint-free cloth.
  • Reinsert the cartridges and turn on the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
