Product: Officejet 4500 Desktop
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and older

My printer is printing normally except when printing barcodes for example, Royal Mail returns. These bar codes are printing with a shadow which makes them unreadable.

To better assist -

  •  What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device? 
  • Do you have print quality issues while printing on a normal paper?
  • What is type of paper you are using?
