What are the most likely causes of fading on both edges of my prints.  I did a test printing of shapes using RGB:FFFF00, FF00FF, 00FFFF, and 000000, which I believe selectively prints from my Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and black cartridges.  They each show the same result, and each has supplies of at least 30%, so I don't think this is a toner issue.

I did the setup/cleaning page action, with no improvement.

I just don't know what actions I can take to diagnose any problem with the unit.

The fading is not unique to the edges, but far more pronounced there.  I would upload a scan of an example, but don't see an upload option on this forum's posting interface.

Any advice is welcome.

Use the camera icon on the posting to add a picture. Most fading is going to be toner cartridge related. Keep in mind that toner levels are not 100% accurate.
