MFP 178NW is giving very blurry and faded prints

Hi, i bought a new HP HP Color Laser MFP 178nw  printer in the end of 2023, hardly printed 500 pages since then and the issue started 6 months ago with faded printing, i tried cleaning and nothing works. I bought a new black toner,issue seemed to be fixed for another 50 pages and now it returned again. I tried cleaning and all the troubleshooting mentioned but nothing works.. super disappointed with HP and i think time to move on to Brother or canon printers. What about colour, when you print in colour is the print OK?

Hi! thanks for replying.. Sometimes it does , if i retry after few minutes but most of the times it doesnt.  😞

Print some text in black, magenta, yellow and cyan on one sheet and post a sample page.

seems to be ok , only slightly faded in black.. see attached. also ive noticed when i print again continuously it gets worst in black

now i tried again printing in black only 4 pages, 2 of them printed fine, the other 2 faded.. if i print more it will go complete blank.. the toner is new as you can see from the supply levels

All points to a problem with a black toner cartridge. If all colours were affected all the time then it would be something printer-related.

thank you! yeah i replaced it with a brand new one. idk what is the problem. but thanks for your help anyways.
