@P1233, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Light Printing Issues with HP Printers!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP printer is printing very light, even after installing new toner cartridges, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Check Print Density Settings:

  • Access your printer settings and check the print density or toner setting. You may need to increase the density for darker prints.

Verify Toner Cartridges:

  • Confirm that you have installed the correct toner cartridges and that they are genuine HP products. Using third-party or counterfeit cartridges can lead to print quality issues.

Clean the Printer:

  • Ensure the printer is clean and free from dust. Use a soft cloth to wipe down any exposed parts, and check for any signs of toner leakage.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed. Visit the HP website to download the latest drivers for your printer model.

Check the Fuser Unit:

  • Ensure the fuser unit is working correctly. A malfunctioning fuser can cause print quality issues such as light prints.

Printer Calibration:

  • Perform a printer calibration if your printer model supports this feature. Calibration can sometimes improve print quality.

Print a Test Page:

  • Print a test page from the printer’s menu to determine if the issue is with print settings or something else.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
