HP ENVY 7645 printer

I have an HP ENVY 7645 printer and I replaced the color cartridge with a new one and the magenta ink will not print.  I went through all the steps to clean the printer head and align the printer and when the print quality diagnostic paper printed the magenta ink is completely blank.  Otherwise, the printer works great.  I do not want to buy a new printer if I do not have to .  Is it just a problem with the ink cartridge or the printer?  Can anybody help me please?

Hi,

This is an ink cartridge problem and the ink cartridge should be replaced, this is not a printer problem.

 

Any such print quality problem would be caused by the ink cartridge only, as the Printhead is located within the ink cartridge itself and not in the printer.

a printer problem may cause a full cartridge rejection, not such a print quality issue...

 

If the ink cartridge is genuine and In-Warranty, you may return with the cartridge to the place of purchase with its proof of purchase to claim its warranty:
