Hi,

I get a message after replacing a cartridge: The indicated cartridges are not intended for use in this printer.

Printer: HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545.

Cartridge with error: HP 662XL Black.

 

Tried with a new cartridge, but same error.

 

Tried the reset by removing the cord while the printer is on, and removing the cord from the wall outlet. Waiting 60 seconds before plugging it back in. Didn't help.

 

Tried to clean the contacts with distilled water, waiting 10 min. Didn't help.

 

Any help is appreciated.

As you have already tried the troubleshooting steps, this could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.
