Solved!

Missing "rows" on portrait print, missing "columns" on landscape print

HP Recommended
Envy 7155
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

First noticed missing "columns" in print of several Excel spreadsheets (can't share that output here). Test/diagnostic print pages (attached) also show the missing areas. Printing in Black & White Only did not help. What could be wrong that would cause these repeated missing areas?

This is a home printer (Envy photo 7155), minimal usage.Missing horizontal "rows"Missing horizontal "rows"Missing "rows"Missing "rows"

That is consistent with clogged nozzles on the printhead. Minimal use on Inkjet printers is bad new as the ink can solidify and clog the nozzles. You need to run a couple of head cleaning cycles to recover the printhead.

Thank you for the suggestion which solved the issue. I am told it took many (up to 10?) cleaning cycle runs before the print looked normal again.

Not surprising, the problem with low use is that the pigment separates from the light carrier fluid in the ink and settles to the bottom of the head, clogging the nozzles. Running cleaning will usually moisten the clog and force it out.
