HP DeskJet 3764 All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

My printer is directly connected to my computer but the information pages were printing blank. The Black cartridge was low and I hadn't used the printer in two years so I just purchased new cartridges but now the printer and HP Smart are saying they are incompatible. They are the Office Depot store brand but the box says, " compare to HP 65XL/65" and on the side it says they are compatible with my printer. I've troubleshot this issue by cleaning the copper heads with an eraser per the cartridge customer support FAQ and I've reset the printer by unplugging it for several minutes. Still getting the same error. I did read that if I've moved the printed from one country to another I may need an HP Support Regional Reset but I can't find how to initiate that. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @KLSUT,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand you moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
