Hi,

We recently moved to Italy with our Printer from the US and it is not accepting the 912 cartridges which are the standard for this region

I change to italy in the settings and did a full factory reset but still got the message that cartridges are not meant for this printer

I see that you are looking for help with a regional reset on your Printer.

To perform a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

 

Which country did you move from and to?

Do you have the ink cartridges for both regions?

Do you have a printer USB cable?

Do you have the printer full feature software and drivers installed on your PC?

If you meet the above conditions then let me know the following details:

1) The operating system of your PC, is it Windows or Mac?

2) Confirm the printer model.

 

Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Can you please reopen this post? you communicated through DM that I responded to but we never got a resolution

blocking customers from moving with your equipment is really bad for HP images and I may never buy another HP piece if we don't solve this quickly

Which country did you move from and to? From the USA to Italy

Do you have the ink cartridges for both regions? Only the new ones 912 since the 910 were empty when we moved (I found the 910 event empty in the meantime)

Do you have a printer USB cable? I do not

Do you have the printer full feature software and drivers installed on your PC? yes

If you meet the above conditions then let me know the following details:

1) The operating system of your PC, is it Windows or Mac? WINDOWS

2) Confirm the printer model. Officejet pro 8030
