My HP ENVY printer will no longer print. It says the printer can't communicate with the black cartr

My printer is indicating that it can't communicate with the black ink cartridge.  I have put a new cartridge in, unplugged it, and cleaned the contacts.  Nothing has worked.  Can anyone suggest anything?
