Hi @Munne009,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check for Paper Jam

  • Power Off: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Inspect Paper Path: Open the printer’s access door and check for any jammed paper or obstructions. Remove any visible jams carefully.
  • Reinstall Paper: Ensure paper is loaded properly in the tray with guides set correctly to the size of the paper.

Ink and Cartridges

  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Replace any empty cartridges.
  • Inspect Cartridges: Remove and reinstall the cartridges to ensure they are seated properly. Clean the contacts if necessary.

Reset Printer

  • Power Cycle: Unplug the printer, wait for a minute, and then reconnect the power cord. Turn on the printer and see if the error persists.

Check Connectivity

  • Connection Verification: If you’re using a wireless connection, ensure the printer is connected to the correct network. For USB connections, confirm that the cable is undamaged and securely connected.
  • Printer Alignment: Run an alignment test using the printer's menu options, if available, to ensure everything is properly set.

Printer Preferences

  • Check Printer Settings: Ensure the printer is set as the default printer in your device settings.
  • Restart Print Queue: Clear your print queue to remove any stuck print jobs. You can do this in the printer settings on your computer.

HP Smart App Diagnostics

  • Use the HP Smart app to run a diagnostic on your printer for any potential issues. This app can provide specific insights into what's causing the error.

I hope this helps.
