My Ink Tank Wireless 419 got a problen: after 2 years of normal work, suddenly the printer output is missing yellow ink... Probably, the yellow nozzle is clogged ?... Bad case, if so. The printer makes all blach, blue and red colors well, but the yellow one... Should I send the printer to a service station to flush yellow ink nozzle ?...

Hi @Sergio-K,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
It’s so disappointing when something that’s been working well suddenly has issues like this, especially with colors missing from your prints. I can understand why you’d want to get it back to normal as soon as possible.
Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved.
Check ink levels and fill the tanks
- Low ink levels can impact print quality. Refill any tanks that are low on ink.
- On the ink tank windows, find the maximum and minimum fill lines.
Note: Purchase replacement cartridges and other supplies from the HP Store or local retailers.
- Ink tank fill lines
- 1: Maximum fill line
- 2: Minimum fill line
- Fill any tanks that are at or near the minimum fill line.
Note: Print quality can be affected if an ink tank falls below the minimum fill line. Overfilling the ink tanks can cause ink leakage.
- Order new ink bottles from the HP Store or your local office supply store that carries HP products.

Thanks, dear Elohi, for the reply. My printer InkTank W419 is filled to the brim with ink (all colors), but it doesn't help. The situation with this printer is typical: after 2 years, some ink nozzles usually get clogged, and there's nothing left to do but send/bring this poor printer for repair to wash/clean the clogged nozzles (weak point: HP printers don't have an ink pump, as compared to Epson)...
Regards, SK

Gentlemen, after a thorough examination of the test prints, it turned out that it was impossible to solve the problem by simply cleaning the printer heads - the problem was not in the clogging of the head nozzle, but in the failure of the color head microcircuit... Washing such a head is useless - only replacement the entire tricolor head could help !
Yahoo, and now it works, long live HP !

Buenos dias, Ojitos !
Surely, I've replaced the three-color print head myself, no problem - it's an easy procedure in HP printers. The main thing in this problem was to figure out why some color stopped printing... Our local Russian service technicians had been telling me for a long time that all HP inkjet printers are worse than those of Epson, because they don't have a booster pump, and that HP inkjet printers don't last more than 2 years through (in addition, they charged me a lot of money for cleaning the print head nozzles - the cleaning process took 3-4 weeks). Yet everything turned out to be simpler, and I'm glad that I bought an HP printer: its design is simple and it allows for easy repairs not by cleaning the heads, but just by replacing the head - it's easy and cheaper ! ¡Gloria a la HP !

Yes, Sir, works perfectly, and this solution to the problem will save Your time. The main thing is to strictly follow the HP instructions for installing the 3-head, act very carefully, without much efforts 🙂
Enjoy Your HP printer !
