Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

This printer is not new but used very little. We wanted to print income tax information and we hadn't used the printer for 2 weeks. The message came up "New unused cartridges must be used  start up" I always replace cartridges when it tells me to but never all 4 at once. But I went to Staples and bought over $200 worth of ink cartridges and put them in and the same message still comes up.

Possibly the printer is requesting the "Startup Ink" or setup cartridges that came with the printer originally.

Was the printer recently factory reset?   Those cartridges are either empty or thrown away.

if so, one of these videos might show how to bypass the setup cartridge requirement.

Supposedly one of the above will work on a 9015 so your 9018 might be fixed.
