Customers receiving the"will damage your computer" message along with others like "unable to access cups/tmp" or "'@%' cannot be opened" need to update their version of the macOS. My printer (Office JetPro 6968 All-in-One) does not print in black even when ink cartridge s full.

My printer (Office JetPro 6968 All-in-One) does not print in BLACK even when ink cartridge s full.  I replaced all ink cartridges including the colored ones after their ink level was low.  HP Instant Ink provided the replacement ink.  The colors work but I can not get  the black letters of the document to print.  I ran a trouble shoot to clean the printer heads.  Also ran troubleshoot to align printer heads.  But the test prints still don't show the black printing.  Only get colors,  no Black print.    I suspect a defective printer head.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

My HPPrinter is    OfficeJet Pro 6968 All in One;     Model # 6960;     Serial #  [Personal Information Removed];      Product #  T0F28A.   Where is the closest  HP Service Center where I can bring my printer for service in San Mateo, CA or Foster City, CA Area.   Thanks.
