Hi @Chiranjit2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check for Obstructions:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Carefully inspect the carriage path for any obstructions such as pieces of paper or other objects.
  • Remove any obstructions found.

Reset the Printer:

  • Press the power button to turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the power source and turn on the printer.

Check and Properly Install Cartridges:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Wait until the carriage stops moving before you continue.
  • Make sure each ink cartridge is properly installed and not sticking out farther than the other ink cartridges. If a cartridge is sticking out, push it until it snaps into place.
  • Close the ink cartridge access door.

Clean the Cartridge Contacts:

  • Remove the cartridges from the carriage.
  • Lightly dampen a lint-free cloth with distilled water, and then wipe the copper-colored contacts on each cartridge.
  • Clean the electrical contacts inside the carriage.
  • Wait for the contacts to dry, then reinsert the cartridges into their designated slots.
  • Close the ink cartridge access door.

I hope this helps.
