Product: HP DeskJet 2821e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Although I choose 2 sided printing, my printer does not do this and this is really annoying. If I knew this was gonna be problematic, i would not buy this product. I bought printer for lecture notes but it is useless and waste of paper.

Install the printer a second time.  Give the printer the name "Duplex2821"

Set the default to be double sided.  Example of how to install twice is here

 

Prevent windows from managing your printer

To print double sided, select the correct printer

and the video you shared is working by MS word. I usually print pdfs.

That video just shows how to configure windows to print double sided.  It is good for notepad, PDF, Word, Excel
