Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

My printer keeps printing even after ink cartridge is extremely low and runs out. What a waste of paper and ink! pages are unusable. Please help! This has happened with two different HP printers that I recently bought. Planning on returning both them unless you can help!

It's explained in the user manual, the ink cartridge must be replaced when print quality is no longer acceptable.
