Hi @Ave8,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
1. Check Cartridge Compatibility
- Ensure that the replacement cartridges are genuine HP ones and compatible with your printer model. Non-HP cartridges or refilled ones may sometimes lead to compatibility issues.
2. Inspect Cartridges and Printer
- Remove the Cartridge: Power off the printer and unplug it. Carefully remove the cyan cartridge.
- Check Contacts: Inspect the cartridge for any protective tape or packaging material that might still be attached, and ensure the ink nozzles and electrical contacts are clean and undamaged.
- Clean Contacts: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water to gently clean the cartridge contacts and the corresponding contacts inside the printer.
3. Reinstall the Cartridge
- After cleaning, reinstall the cartridge firmly to ensure it is seated correctly. Make sure the cartridge clicks into place securely.
4. Reset the Printer
- Power Cycle: With the printer plugged in, turn it off and then unplug the power cord. Wait for about a minute, plug it back in, and turn on the printer.
5. Firmware Update
- Check for Updates: Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date, as updates can resolve bugs and improve functionality. You can check for firmware updates via the printer's settings or HP support website.
6. Perform a Test Print
- If the printer starts up without any error messages, try printing a test page to ensure functionality.
I hope this helps.
