have been an HP instantink member for a long time. Recently changed cartridges that I received...all indicators on my account say ink levels are fine & ready to print. But the little screen on my printer gives message that it will stop printing soon & go to hp account online for help but virtual chat is no help & they say Live chat is unavailable! I really need to print & need help asap! Can anyone have suggestions to fix? Thanx

Hi @kyotka,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're facing a frustrating issue. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the "will stop printing soon" message:
Check Ink Cartridge Installation:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly. Remove and reinsert them, making sure they click into place.
Check Cartridge Protection Tape:
- If the new cartridges had any protective tape or seals, make sure they were completely removed.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Clean Ink Cartridges and Contacts:
- Gently clean the contacts on both the ink cartridges and the printer with a lint-free cloth. Be careful not to touch the nozzles.
Check Printer Status on HP Account:
- Log in to your HP Instant Ink account and verify that your printer's status is up-to-date. Make sure there are no alerts or issues listed.
Update Printer Firmware: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Ensure your printer has the latest firmware. You can usually find firmware updates in the printer settings or on the HP support website.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. This can diagnose and fix common printer issues.
Check Ink Levels on Printer Display:
- If your printer's screen or settings menu allows, check the ink levels directly on the printer to ensure they match what is shown online.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
