@Colin6952, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your printer is stuck on a specific paper size setting. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
Check Printer Settings:
- Open the document you want to print.
- Go to File > Print.
- Ensure the paper size is set to A4 in the print settings.
Adjust Paper Tray Settings:
- Load A4 paper into the printer tray.
- Close the tray and check the printer's display panel (if available) to confirm the paper size.
Use Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Open a web browser and enter your printer's IP address in the URL bar.
- Navigate to Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management.
- Adjust the paper size settings to A4 and click Apply.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
- Wait for about 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
