Since I have been retired, I spend a lot of time undertaking volunteer research work from home. As a result, I have needed to print a lot of documents, this has meant I have gone through the print carrtirdges in under a month. These cost about £50 a pair. I am thinking of getting a new HP one but do not know if I need a better quality one than a standard home printer. I would be grateful

There are 2 options for users that print a lot.
1. HP Instant Ink service where you pay monthly by pages you printed, not by consumed ink
2. HP smart tank printers where you buy ink in bottles, not in a cartridge, and you get ink for up to 3 years with a new printer.
