I canceled a subscription on an old printer and initiated one on my new printer, but I need to send the old print cartridges back and haven’t received an email from HP. Where do I send my old cartridges

Hi @MarcelleB,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you have cancelled the ink service on the old printer and registered with the new one, and want to send the ink back to HP.

When you’re enrolled in HP Instant Ink, every time you receive a new ink package from us, it includes a prepaid recycling envelope inside. You can use that envelope to send back your old HP Instant Ink cartridges — it’s quick, easy, and free!

Here’s what you can do:

  • If you still have the prepaid envelope from your last Instant Ink shipment, just pop your old cartridges in there and drop it in the mail.
  • If you don’t have one, you can request a free recycling envelope through your HP Instant Ink account by:
    1. Logging in at hpinstantink.com
    2. Going to the Recycling section
    3. Ordering a new prepaid envelope to be sent to you

This helps us recycle your cartridges safely and protect the environment too!

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
