Receiving error message for the cyan setup cartridge. Says not communicating. I tried replacing with a new cyan cartridge and printer recognized that it’s not setup cartridge so thinking it’s an issue with the set up cartridge. How can I get new setup cartridges?

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

 

Please try the below steps and let me know if this helps:

 

Check the cartridge labels and make sure the cartridges are seated properly in the carriage.

Turn on the printer, and then open the door or lid to the cartridge access area.

Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before you continue.

Check if the cartridges have 'SETUP' on the label.

Push in the tab on a cartridge, and then lift it out of the slot.

Removing the cartridge from the carriage

Reinsert the cartridge into its color-coded slot, and then press down on it until it snaps into place.

Inserting the ink cartridge until it clicks into the carriage

Repeat these steps to remove and reinsert the other cartridges.

Close the door or lid to the cartridge access area.
