Hi @sallaroke11,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 is still not printing blue even after replacing the cartridge and cleaning the printhead, here are a few additional steps you can try.
- Check Ink Levels and Cartridge Installation: Make sure the new cartridge is properly installed and that the ink levels are correct. Sometimes, cartridges can be faulty out of the box.
- Perform a Printhead Alignment: If the alignment page isn't scanning, try performing the alignment manually. Go to the printer’s settings menu, look for the maintenance or printhead options, and follow the manual alignment instructions.
- Clean the Printhead: Run a printhead cleaning cycle from the printer’s menu. If this doesn’t help, you might need to clean the printhead manually. Carefully remove the printhead and gently clean the contacts and printhead nozzles with a lint-free cloth moistened with distilled water.
- Check for Firmware Updates: Sometimes, firmware issues can cause printing problems. Check if there are any available updates for your printer and install them.
- Reset the Printer: Perform a hard reset by turning off the printer, unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, and then plugging it back in and turning it on.
- Check for Blockages: Inspect the printhead and cartridge areas for any blockages or dried ink that could be causing issues.
- Try a Different Paper: Occasionally, paper issues can cause printing problems. Make sure you're using the correct type of paper for your printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
