Hi @Hils6,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your new HP 219X Black toner is not showing the remaining ink level on your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3302fdwg, here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Check Printer Firmware

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. HP may release updates that fix bugs or compatibility issues with new toner cartridges.
  • You can update the firmware using the HP Smart App or by downloading it from the HP Support website.

Reinsert the Toner

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Remove the toner cartridge and check for any protective covers or packaging that may not have been removed.
  • Reinsert the toner cartridge carefully, ensuring it clicks into place.
  • Power the printer back on and check if the toner level is displayed.

Use Genuine HP Cartridges

  • Confirm that the toner cartridge is an original HP 219X toner. Non-genuine cartridges or refilled ones may not properly communicate toner levels with the printer.
  • You can use the HP Smart App to verify if the cartridge is genuine by checking for any warnings.

Reset the Printer

  • Try resetting the printer to clear any temporary issues.
    1. Turn off the printer and unplug it for at least 60 seconds.
    2. Plug it back in and turn it on.
    3. Check if the ink levels display correctly.

Run a Diagnostic Page

  • Use the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS) or the printer control panel to print a diagnostic page. This may help in detecting any underlying issues with the toner communication.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
