New Ink Cartridge not working

Hi.  I got mailed new cartridges for my printer and after I installed the black cartridge I am now getting a message that a cartridge is broken or missing.  Doesn't say which one.  I followed the advice on the hp virtual site of cleaning the copper heads on the cartridges and in the printer with a lint free cloth and I unplugged and replugged in the printer.  I'm now at a loss.

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
