When I install a new tri-color ink cartridge a message comes up stating the following ink cartridge must be replaced, when I reinstall the old one the message goes away and goes into a ready mode. The number matches the old one and all the tape has been removed and it is from the same country of origin.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
Please try these steps:
Take out the inks,
Take out the power cable from the back of the printer.
Wait for 5 minutes , Plug in the power cable.
Turn on the printer.
Clean the ink Nozzels the copper part with the lint free cloth and re insert them back into the printer.
