I just purchased a new hp9025e printer to replace a defunct 8620.  I am enrolled in the Instant Ink program.  I have several new and unused ink cartridges.  The return envelopes indicate return empty only.  My question is have I paid for these cartridges via my monthly billing and are they my property or am I supposed to return them to hp?  I have no use for them, but if they are mine, I will inquire to see if anyone else could use them.  If I am supposed to return to hp, I will put in envelopes and return.

@PATGRNY, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that you have cartridges from your old printer and would like to know what to do next, well I shall help you with it.

Firstly, you paid for the pages printed and not cartridges while the OJ 8620 printer was enrolled in HP Instant Ink Program. The cartridges cannot be used on any other printer, the only option is to send it back to HP in the return envelope you have.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
