@Blazebeach77, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding New Cartridge Issues on HP DeskJet Plus 4155!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you are experiencing issues with new cartridges in your HP DeskJet Plus 4155 All-in-One printer, here are some steps you can take to resolve the problem:

1. Verify Cartridge Compatibility

Ensure the new cartridges are compatible with your HP DeskJet Plus 4155 printer. Check the cartridge numbers and compare them with the ones specified for your printer model.

2. Reset the Printer

Resetting the printer can sometimes help in resolving cartridge issues.

  • Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  • Unplug the power cable from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cable back into the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and try again.

3. Clean the Cartridge Contacts

Ink cartridge errors can arise due to dirty contacts. Clean the contacts to ensure a proper connection.

  • Open the printer’s cartridge access door.
  • Remove the cartridges from the printer.
  • Using a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water, wipe the copper-colored contacts on the cartridges.
  • Make sure the contacts are completely dry before reinserting them into the printer.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
