HP Recommended

HP62XL black ink cartridge was purchased from staples and when placed in printer message stated that the cartridge was empty.  I took it to Staples and they refused to exchange it,  (This happened once over a year ago and they did exchange it for a new cartridge).  When I placed another cartridge in the printer, it worked.  At $49.00/cartridge, What are my options?

There is no valid reason why the seller will not accept a defective product back, and doing that is probably against the law. The seller is responsible for it and should provide a replacement, it's not customer's fault the sold a defective cartridge.

 

The paperwork and cartridge should be returned to the place of purchase, where a replacement may be given.
