Has anyone figured out how to bypass the 'Non-HP Chip Detected' error preventing the use of less expensive after market ink cartridges?

@gmc1776, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Non-HP Chip!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

HP printers are designed to be used with genuine HP ink cartridges, and the presence of a non-HP chip can cause compatibility issues, resulting in error messages such as 'Non-HP Chip Detected.' This is due to HP's dynamic security feature that ensures the printer only works with cartridges containing an original HP chip. HP does not recommend using non-HP cartridges as it cannot guarantee their quality or reliability.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
