Non-HP chip detected on HP original replacement toner

Hi,

I have bought a replacement cartridge for my m428 printer, one that is from the HP brand. However, the printer fails to use it as it claims it detected a non-hp chip. How do I fix this issue?

HP Dynamic security feature is blocking using non-HP chip cartridges. Contact the seller who sold you cartridge for support.

I have contacted the seller, but they have told me there is nothing they can do. For one, it most definitely IS a HP cartridge (image below). It was also perfectly sealed, so no indication at all of it being tampered with.

I have bought it at the same time as the printer, so around 4 years ago. There is no option for me to return it at all.

So I am guessing there is no solution? HP just gets to say "thanks for the money, enjoy your brick"?

Return the cartridge to seller.

I would like to, but I cannot. It was bought too long ago and hence they won't accept it.
